In the Year Two Thousand Thirteen

An Act relative to the withdrawal of funds from retirement accounts.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, individuals participating in private employee retirement accounts, including so-called "401K" type accounts, may access their funds for personal uses with a 30 day notification to the plan manager prior to withdrawal.
