In the Year Two Thousand Thirteen

An Act prohibiting the wholesale of flags made outside the United States.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 2 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 6A the following section:-
Section 6B. Each United States flag composed of textile fiber, as defined pursuant to 15 U.S.C section 70, and offered for sale in the commonwealth for retail or wholesale purchase shall be completely manufactured in the United States of materials that were made in the United States and shall be labeled using the term “Made in U.S.A.” or some other clear and equivalent term.
Whoever violates this section shall be deemed to have engaged in an unfair and deceptive trade practice in violation of chapter 93A.
