An Act relative to changing a beneficiary for members under option (c).
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Subdivision (1) of section 12 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “eleven”, in line 30, the following words:- ; provided, further, that any member who elects option (c) may change his or her beneficiary before or after the option takes effect upon written notice on a prescribed form filed with the board prior to the member’s death.
