An Act restricting medical prescriptions filing personnel.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Chapter 94C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after Section 9(d) the following sentence:-

The persons authorized to file prescription records is restricted to physicians, physicians assistants, dentists, podiatrists, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, psychiatric nurse mental health clinical specialists, nurse anesthetists, pharmacists, chiropractor, and veterinarians.
