An Act expanding the interscholastic athletic head injury safety training program to include private schools.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The first paragraph of subsection (a) of section 222 of chapter 111 of the General Laws is amended by striking out the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:-  The department shall direct the division of violence and injury prevention to develop an interscholastic athletic head injury safety training program in which all schools, including schools subject to the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association and the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council rules, shall participate.
