An Act clarifying participation in athletic safety programs.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 222 of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is amended by adding in subsection (a) at the end of the first sentence:- "Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, coaches, athletic directors and parents or legal guardians of a child who participates in an interscholastic athletic activity shall be required to take such course every 4 years."
