An Act increasing the penalty for health-related risks associated with cosmetology..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   Section 87II of chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2000 Official Edition, is hereby amended:  By adding at the end thereof in line 10 the following clause, -- “provided however, any violation of a regulation relating to any public health risks, as designated by the Board of Registration of Cosmetologists, shall be punished by a fine of up to $1000.”
