An Act relative to members of the Armed Forces stationed outside of the United States.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 3, Part B, paragraph (b)(1) of chapter 62 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following subparagraph:-

(D)  an additional exemption of up to fifteen thousand dollars if the taxpayer is a member of the Armed Forces of the United States; provided, however, that the member must be stationed outside of the United States and its territories; and provided further that said member’s total military pay may not exceed thirty thousand dollars.
