An Act relative to motor vehicle benefits for certain veterans.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1:  Section 1 of chapter 60A of the General Laws as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition hereby is amended by inserting after the words:- “in the better eye;” in line 111, the following words:- “nor to a motor vehicle owned and registered by a veteran, as defined in section 7 of chapter 4, who according to the records of the United States Veterans Administration, by reason of service in the armed forces of the United States, has suffered impairment, or permanent impairment, by reason of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder;”.

The provisions of this section shall be effective upon passage going forward, there shall be no retroactive effect to this section.
