An Act providing for a tax exemption on the sale of recycled materials..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 6 of chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
(yy) Sales of tangible personal property which by weight contain greater than 70% recycled material.
SECTION 2. Paragraph (yy) of section 6 of chapter 64H of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking the section in its entirety.
SECTION 3. Section 3 shall take effect on December 31, 2016.
