An Act increasing restaurant competitiveness.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “except”, in line 5, the following words:-
the excise imposed on upon the sale of restaurant meals at the rate of 5 per cent and
SECTION 2. Section 2 of chapter 64L of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking “.75 per cent”, in line 4, and inserting in place thereof the following:- “1 per cent”.
