An Act relative to debarment in public contracts.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Subsection (c) of section 29F of chapter 29 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out,  in line 52, as amended by section 112 of chapter 165 acts of 2012, the word "may" and inserting in place thereof the following word:- shall.

SECTION 2. Subsection (c) of section 29F of chapter 29 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 52 and 53, as amended by section 112 of chapter 165 acts of 2012, the words “but, debarment shall be imposed in all causes where debarment is required by law:”

SECTION 3. Subsection (d) of section 29F of chapter 29 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 99, as amended by section 112 of chapter 165 acts of 2012, the word "may" and inserting in place thereof the following word:- shall.

SECTION 4. Subsection (e) of section 29F of chapter 29 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 134, as amended by section 112 of chapter 165 acts of 2012, the word "may" and inserting in place thereof the following word:- shall.

SECTION 5. Subsection (f) of section 29F of chapter 29 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 158, as amended by section 112 of chapter 165 acts of 2012, the word "may" and inserting in place thereof the following word:- shall.
