An act to promote private sector job growth and reduce state spending.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 53 of chapter 7 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 17, by striking the figure “$500,000”, and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$3,000,000”; and further by striking the first sentence of clause (4) of said section 53, and inserting in place thereof the following:-

(4) The agency shall prepare a comprehensive realistic written estimate of the costs of regular agency employees’ providing the subject services.
