An Act relative to continuing education requirements for pipefitters, refrigeration technicians, and sprinkler fitters..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 85 of chapter 146 of the General Laws, as so appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the second paragraph the following paragraph:-
The Bureau shall promulgate regulations which shall require the renewal of such licenses every two years. Commencing with the license renewal on July 1, 2013, all individuals licensed by the commonwealth as a pipefitter, refrigeration technician, or sprinkler fitter shall demonstrate the satisfactory completion of continuing education courses as determined by the Bureau.
