An Act relative to traffic safety.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Paragraph 1 of section 18A of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the words:- “One dollar for the first second and third such offense committed in a calendar year, and by a fine of two dollars for the fourth or subsequent offense in a calendar year”, and inserting in place thereof:- “twenty-five dollars for the first offense, fifty dollars for the second offense, and seventy-five dollars for the third and subsequent offenses.”
