An Act authorizing the town of Heath to continue the employment of Margo Ann Newton as police chief.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Margo Ann Newton, Police Chief for the Town of Heath, may continue in the position until she reaches 70 years of age, the date of her retirement or until her non-reappointment. No further deductions shall be made from the regular compensation of Margo Ann Newton under chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to September 30, 2014.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
