In the Year Two Thousand Thirteen

An Act exempting certain positions in the town of Millbury from the civil service laws.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Positions with the rank of lieutenant and above within the police department in the town of Millbury shall be exempt from chapter 31 of the General Laws.
SECTION 2. Superior officers with the rank of lieutenant or higher within the police department in the town of Millbury shall be managerial employees for the purpose of section 1 of chapter 150E of the General Laws.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
