An Act prohibiting a municipality or regional school district from using public funds or other public resources for the recruitment of students from outside the municipality or regional school district.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 76 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 12C the following section:-

Section 12D.  No public funds or other public resources shall be expended by a city, town or school district to recruit a student from another city, town or school district.
