An Act authorizing the town of Petersham to borrow outside the debt limit for a certain town project.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1: Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Petersham may borrow for the removal and disposal of asbestos and related costs from the Nichewaug Inn (located at 25 Common Street, Petersham, MA 01366) and the demolition and removal of the Nichewaug Inn for a term of not more than 20 years. Indebtedness incurred under this act shall not be included in determining the limit of indebtedness of the town under section 10 of chapter 44 of the General Laws but shall otherwise be subject to said chapter 44.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage
