An Act relative to net school spending in fiscal year 2014.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, the commissioner of elementary and secondary education shall not include deficiencies in net school spending requirements attributed to the non-inclusion of health care costs for retired teachers when calculating state school aid distribution reductions under section 11 of chapter 70 of the General Laws in fiscal year 2014.
