In the Year Two Thousand Thirteen

An Act authorizing the department of conservation and recreation to lease certain parkland in the city of Cambridge.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to forthwith permit the leasing of public parkland, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Section 44 of chapter 85 of the acts of 1994 is hereby amended in the 5th paragraph by inserting after the words "Mount Greylock State Reservation" the following words: “Powder House, so-called, in Magazine Beach in the City of Cambridge.”
