An Act relative to the town charter for the town of Ipswich.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  The charter of the town of Ipswich, which is on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth, is hereby amended, in Section 27, by striking the words “December 10” and inserting in place thereof the following:- “no later than one hundred (100) days prior to the Annual Town Meeting”.

SECTION 2.  Section 28 of said charter is hereby amended by striking the words “January 20” and inserting in place thereof the following:- “no later than 65 days prior to the Annual Town Meeting”.

SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its passage.
