An Act authorizing the Wareham fire district to pay a certain unpaid bill.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the treasurer of the Wareham Fire District may pay an unpaid bill for the installation of water lines in and around Sandwich road in the town of Wareham, which was incurred by said fire district, from available funds to the town of Wareham; provided, that said sum shall not exceed $210,000.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
