An Act relative to the Audit/Accountability office.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 55A of Chapter 15 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 3, the words “within the department” and inserting:- “within the Office of the State Auditor”.

              Section 2. Section 55A of Chapter 15 of the General Laws, as so appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "commonwealth" the following words:- ; the office will further present a prioritized list of technical assistance that the department should provide to improve educational outcomes.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect on July 1, 2013.
