An Act eliminating stage II vapor recovery systems.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 142O of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after subsection (e) the following:-
(f) the department shall not require that stage II vapor collection and control systems be utilized in a motor vehicle fuel dispensing facility after March 1, 2013.
(g) within 1 year of the effective date of this Act, a motor vehicle fuel dispensing facility shall decommission its stage II system in accordance with department requirements.
