An Act relative to federally regulated renewable energy facilities.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

for legislation SECTION 1. Chapter 448 of the Acts of 2012 is hereby amended by inserting after section 18 the following section:-

for legislation Section 19.  Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, dams owned or operated by the United States or its agencies and any dam or reservoir licensed, permitted, subject to inspection by, or otherwise regulated by, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, shall be excluded from chapter 253, sections 44 through 50 inclusive, of the General Laws.
