An Act to restore the public trust for tidelands.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 91 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereto the following new section:
Section 64. Exclusivity of authority
The authority to review and grant applications for tidelands licenses granted to the department under this chapter is exclusive and may not be delegated or assumed by any other agency without express legislative approval.
