An Act creating uniform beach warnings.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 91 of the General Laws, as appearing the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section:-
Section 60. The department shall create a uniform warning and safety flag program at public beaches along the coast of the commonwealth. Said program shall provide for a uniform size, shape, color and definition for each warning and safety flag. Participation in the program shall be open to any city or town having jurisdiction over a public beach along the coast.
