An Act relative to transparency of rates.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1: Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, whereas Senior Care Option (SCO) programs and Programs for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) provide cost savings to the commonwealth by reducing expenses for custodial nursing home care, MassHealth shall establish capitation rates for the senior care options plans and programs of all-inclusive care for the elderly through a rate setting process that is actuarially sound and transparent
