An Act relative to mandatory prescription drug coverage.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 111M of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 46, at the end of the definition of the term “Creditable coverage” the following:-

Minimum creditable coverage, as defined by the board under the authority granted herein, shall not require, in the case of individuals subject to chapter 58 of the acts of 2006, coverage for prescription drugs.
