An Act to prevent homelessness among elderly and disabled persons and families facing no-fault evictions.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 9 of chapter 239 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following sentence:- In allocating state public housing resources, the department of housing and community development shall give priority to persons granted a stay of judgment and execution pursuant to this section.
