An Act providing further penalties for intentional loss or damage to a gravestone or other gravemarker.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 73 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-  In addition, the court shall order the defendant to pay restitution to the owner of the property damaged, destroyed, mutilated, defaced, inured or removed.
