An Act relative to electronic deed recording.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 36 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 41 the following new section:-

Section 42.  All registries of deeds must be fully capable of recording documents in an electronic form by July 1, 2014.
