An Act relative to the hours of the District Courts and certain filing fees.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 15 of chapter 218 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 official edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words “and may authorize such clerks to operate their offices on Saturdays with reduced personnel” and inserting in place thereof:-

District courts in all counties including the Boston Municipal District Court of the Central Division of the district courts, shall be open on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with full personnel, and the district court judges of said counties and Superior Court Judges shall be rotated to hear said cases and assigned by the Administrative Judge for the Trial Courts.
