An Act relative to subdivision bonds.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 81U of chapter 41 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 161 to 165, inclusive, the words “If such proceeds do not exceed one hundred thousand dollars, the expenditure may be made without specific appropriation under section fifty-three of chapter forty-four; provided, however, that such expenditure is approved by the board of selectmen.” and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- Expenditures may be made without specific appropriation under section 53 of chapter 44; provided, however, that such expenditure is approved by the board of selectmen.
