An Act reorganizing the Municipal Finance Oversight Board.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 1 of chapter 44 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the definition for “municipal finance oversight board,” and inserting in place thereof the following:-

“Municipal Finance Oversight Board,” a board composed of the attorney general, the state treasurer, and the state auditor, or their designees.  The director of accounts in the department of revenue shall be a member ex-officio, but without a vote.
