An Act relative to transparency to memberships to boards of trade, chambers of commerce and like bodies.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 4 (j) of chapter 180 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by and inserting after the word “nature” the following words:- “provided that such a body maintains an open right to membership with no mandatory fees to either join or maintain membership”
