An Act relative to juvenile parole retroactivity.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 24 of chapter 279 of the general laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:
In the case of a sentence to life imprisonment for murder in the first degree committed by a person on or after the person’s fourteenth birthday and before the person’s eighteenth birthday, the court shall fix a minimum term of 35 years, regardless of when the murder was committed
