An Act designating Conflict Resolution Awareness Week.

 

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith the third week in October as “Conflict Resolution Awareness Week,” , therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 6 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after section 15UUUUU, as amended by chapter 175 of the acts of 2014 the following section:-

     Section 15VVVV.  The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the third week in October as “Conflict Resolution Awareness Week,” to raise public awareness of mediation and conflict resolution practices
