Massachusetts Water Technology Innovation Trust Fund

Representatives Dykema of Holliston, Conroy of Wayland, Rogers of Cambridge, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Gordon of Bedford, Lawn of Watertown, Hogan of Stow, McMurtry of Dedham, Andrews of Orange, O'Day of West Boylston, Kafka of Stoughton, Moran of Lawrence, Smizik of Brookline, Walsh of Framingham, Campbell of Methuen, Madden of Nantucket, Mahoney of Worcester, Provost of Somerville, Schmid of Westport, Fiola of Fall River, Benson of Lunenburg, Nyman of Hanover, Roy of Franklin, Gobi of Spencer and Decker of Cambridge move that the bill be amended amend amendment 26 by striking it out in its entirety and inserting in place thereof the following amendment:-

2200-XXXX For a Massachusetts water technology innovation grant program administered by the Massachusetts clean energy center; provided, that grants shall be awarded to promote the water technology industry in the commonwealth; and provided further, programs and projects eligible for the grant program shall include, but not be limited to: 1) programs that support the development of pilot and demonstration projects designed to advance the commercialization of promising water technologies; 2) projects that support the creation of testing facilities for the advancement of water technology; 3) financial supports for the development and application of water-related technologies, including research and commercialization activities; and 4) other programs that foster international partnerships, establish conferences, or otherwise encourage water technology innovation in the commonwealth……………………………..$1,500,000
