An Act relative to trauma informed services.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. The executive office of health and human services is hereby directed to convene a western massachusetts working group on trauma informed delivery of health care, mental health care and human services.  Said working group shall be composed of individuals and groups selected in consultation with the department of mental health, masshealth, the human services forum, motherwoman, servicenet, tapestry, safe passage and other organizations involved in direct care and counseling.  The working group shall report its recommendations for regulatory and statutory changes to enhance service delivery, improve service outcomes and budget recommendations to the house and senate committees on ways and means and the committee on health care finance no later than July 1, 2016.
