An Act relative to impersonating public officials.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 33 of Chapter 268 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the words “shall be punished by a fine of not more than four hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one year.” And inserting the words “shall be punished by a fine of not less than $1,000 and not more than $1,500 or by imprisonment in a house of correction for not more than two and one half years, or both.”
