An Act relative to limiting recurring parole hearings for persons convicted of second degree murder.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. This act shall be known and referred to as “Leslie’s Law”.
SECTION 2. Section 133A of chapter 127 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “period”, in line 48, the following words: - provided, however, that for any person convicted of murder in the second degree, such ensuing period shall be 10 years.
