An Act relative to the further protection of victims of motor vehicle injury.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 90, Section 24 (a 1/2 ) (1) of the Massachusetts General Laws, 2012 official edition, is hereby amended by striking the following language “six months nor more than two years and by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars, nor more than one thousand dollars” and insert the following words:- one year nor more than two years and by a fine of not less than five thousand dollars, not more than ten thousand dollars.
