An Act relative to filing fees for appeals of civil motor vehicle infractions.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Paragraph (4) of subsection (A) of section 3 of chapter 90C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the sixth paragraph the following paragraph:-

The $25 court filing fee shall be returned to the petitioner if the magistrate or justice enters a finding of not responsible.
