An Act Relative to Alcohol Transportation.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1: Section 22 of Chapter 138 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the words “twenty gallons of malt beverages, three gallons of any other alcoholic beverage, or one gallon of alcohol” from the first paragraph and inserting “Thirty Two gallons of malt beverages, four gallons of any other alcoholic beverage, or two gallons of alcohol” in its place

SECTION 2: Section 22 of Chapter 138 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the words from paragraph 8 “shall be punished by a fine of not more than two thousand five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.” And inserting “shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in a house of corrections for not more than three months, or both.
