An Act relative to the Homestead Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Chapter 188 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 official edition, is hereby amended by replacing the period at the end of subsection (6) with a semicolon and inserting after subsection (6) the following subsection:
(7) for a tort liability, for which the cause of action occurred prior to the acquisition of said estate of homestead.
