An Act relative to issuing citations to motor vehicle moving violations.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.

Section 2  of chapter 90C, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after the word “records” in line 83, the following new sentence:-

Provided, however, a motor vehicle civil citation issued pursuant to a moving violation, as defined in section 113B of chapter 175 of the General Laws, may not be mailed to the alleged violator but shall be manually delivered to said alleged violator either at the time of the alleged violation or at the time such citation was recorded.
