An Act adjusting the salaries of justices of the judicial branch.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 22 of chapter 211 of the General Laws, as most recently amended by sections 2 and 4 of chapter 61 of the acts of 2013, is hereby amended by striking the figure “$166,239” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$172,889”.

SECTION 2. Said section 22 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$172,889”, inserted by section 1, and inserting in place thereof the figure “$179,805”.

SECTION 3. Said section 22 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$160,984” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$167,423”.

SECTION 4. Said section 22 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$167,423”, inserted by section 3, and inserting in place thereof the figure “$174,120”.

SECTION 5.  Section 2 of chapter 211A of the General Laws, as most recently amended by sections 6 and 8 of chapter 61 of the acts of 2013, is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$170,358” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$177,172”.

SECTION 6. Said section 2 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$177,172”, inserted by section 5, and inserting in place thereof the figure “$184,259”.

SECTION 7. Said section 2 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$165,087” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$171,690”.

SECTION 8. Said section 2 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$171,690”, inserted by section 7, and inserting in place thereof the figure “$178,558”.

SECTION 9.  Section 4 of Chapter 211B of the General Laws, as most recently amended by Section 10 of Chapter 61 of the Acts of 2013, is hereby amended by striking the figures “$159,694” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$166,082”.

SECTION 10.  Said section 4 is hereby further amended by striking the figures “$166,082”, inserted by section 9, and inserting in place thereof the figure “$172,725”.

SECTION 11.  Section 4 of Chapter 211B of the General Laws, as most recently amended by Section 12 of Chapter 61 of the Acts of 2013, is hereby amended by striking the figure “$165,124” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$171,729”.

SECTION 12. Said section 4 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$171,729”, inserted by section 11, and inserting in place thereof the figure “$178,598”.

SECTION 13.  Section 4 of Chapter 211B of the General Laws, as most recently amended by Sections 14 of Chapter 61 of the Acts of 2013, is hereby amended by striking the figure “$170,358” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$185,742”.

SECTION 14. Said section 4 is hereby further amended by striking the figure “$185,742”, inserted by section 13, and inserting in place thereof the figure “$193,172”.

SECTION 15.  Sections 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 of this act shall take effect July 1, 2015. 

SECTION 16. Sections 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 of this act shall take effect January 1, 2016.
