An Act Relative to Asbestos Related Claims.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2B of Chapter 260 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 9 after the word “owner.” by inserting the following: - (3) Section 2B shall not apply to an action that is based on personal injury, disability, disease, or death resulting from the discharge into the environment of asbestos.
